The fifth acquisition of lighting companies! Legrand acquires Focal Point

Recently, the North American and Central American branch (LCNA) of Legrand, a global expert in electrical and intelligent building systems, announced that it would acquire Focal Point, a privately-held manufacturer of architectural lighting products based in Chicago.

Legrand said Focal Point has a 25-year outstanding track record of  product performance, short lead times, mature manufacturing capabilities, and strong relationships with designated manufacturers and contractors.

This acquisition is Legrand's fifth acquisition in the lighting industry, marking the company has promoted to a comprehensive solution provider in the field of architectural lighting. Legrand will provide a high degree of autonomy to its lighting company and support Focal Point's business leadership team in pursuing innovation and growth. Legrand's size and infrastructure will enable Focal Point to provide customers with innovative lighting solutions faster and more powerfully.
